A Historic Treasure in Mount Macedon
Known as “The Knoll,” the original house on the east side of Mount Macedon Road was built in 1874 for James and Madame Pfund. It is also believed to have once belonged to the legendary Dame Nellie Melba. After the original house was lost during the Ash Wednesday bushfires in 1983, a new home was built on the same foundations.
